IO Detailing Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, and appointment changes are handled for IO Detailing mobile detailing services.
IO Detailing provides mobile auto detailing services in Lumby, Vernon, and surrounding BC areas. When you book a service, you are reserving a time slot for our team to travel to your vehicle location and complete the booked detailing service.
Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled at no charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.

If you booked online and received a booking confirmation, you may also use the instructions in that confirmation to manage your appointment, if available.
Customer Cancellations
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are not charged a cancellation fee.
Same-day cancellations may be subject to a $25–$50 cancellation fee, depending on the service booked.
No-shows, unavailable vehicles, locked vehicles, unsafe service locations, or lack of required access may result in the appointment being shortened, rescheduled, or charged up to the full booked service amount.
IO Detailing Rescheduling
IO Detailing may need to reschedule an appointment due to:
- Heavy rain
- Snow
- Extreme temperatures
- High wind
- Unsafe working conditions
- Equipment issues
- Vehicle access issues
- Lack of required water or electricity
- Conditions that would reduce service quality
If IO Detailing needs to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to arrange a new appointment time.
Late Arrivals & Access Issues
Please make sure the vehicle is accessible and ready at the scheduled appointment time.
The vehicle must be:
- Parked safely and legally
- Located where detailing is allowed
- Accessible on all sides where possible
- Cleared of valuables and personal items
- Near water and electricity unless otherwise confirmed
If the vehicle is not accessible or the location is not suitable, the appointment may need to be shortened, rescheduled, or treated as a same-day cancellation.
Refunds
Refunds are not typically provided once a service has been completed.
If IO Detailing cancels an appointment and a suitable reschedule cannot be arranged, any eligible payment or deposit may be refunded.
Service concerns are handled under our Refund & Service Policy and must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
